A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Ejeh Udeh, has been shot dead by unknown gunmen in Otukpo, Benue State.

Naija News gathered that the assailants stormed Udeh’s residence in the Ugboju area of Otukpo around 12:00 a.m. on Monday and opened fire on him in the presence of his family.

According to eyewitness accounts cited by Daily Post, the attackers, who arrived on a motorcycle, ambushed Udeh as he entered his house and fatally shot him.

His remains have been deposited at the Otukpo General Hospital morgue.
