Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has arrived at the Federal High Court in Abuja today for what could be a decisive ruling in his long-running trial.

According to court documents shared on social media by his lawyer, Alloy Ejimakor, today’s proceedings focus on the “hearing and determination of pending applications, and ruling.”
Justice Omotosho is expected to deliver a ruling on Kanu’s no-case submission. The decision will determine whether Kanu is discharged of all charges or directed to open his defense.

The development has heightened anticipation across the South East and beyond, with supporters closely monitoring the outcome, which could potentially set Kanu free today.
