Sam Amadi, a prominent chieftain of the Obidient faction, has described the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the “most organized and sensible party” following the defection of Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Amadi, commenting on social media, said he does not blame Mbah for leaving the PDP for APC, arguing that the ruling party has better structure and discipline.
“I do not blame Peter Mbah for dumping PDP for APC. The PDP destroyed itself by love of Wike's money. APC is the best organized & sensible party,” he tweeted.
However, Amadi expressed reservations about APC’s leadership at the presidential level, calling the party’s presidential candidate “bad,” while praising Peter Obi as “the best guy to save Nigeria now.”
“But which party now?” he added, highlighting the dilemma faced by voters seeking effective leadership.
The comments reflect ongoing debates within Nigeria’s political landscape as politicians and supporters recalibrate allegiances ahead of the 2027 general elections.
