Italian football powerhouse, Juventus, has entered the race to sign Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi from Leicester City, following the Foxes’ relegation to the Championship.
According to transfer expert Ben Jacobs, the 36-time Serie A champions are now among several top clubs — including Manchester United, Everton, and Real Betis — eyeing a move for the 28-year-old defensive midfielder.
Ndidi is reportedly available for a fee of just €10.5 million (£8 million), thanks to a relegation clause in his contract.
Manchester United are said to be considering Ndidi as a replacement for Brazilian midfielder Casemiro, while clubs from the Saudi Pro League have also shown interest in securing his services.
The Nigerian international, who joined Leicester in 2017, has made 303 appearances for the club, including 220 in the Premier League. He played a key role in Leicester’s historic 2020/21 FA Cup triumph and the subsequent Community Shield victory.
