A petition has reportedly been initiated calling for an investigation into social media personality VeryDarkMan (VDM) over alleged violations of child rights and privacy.
According to statements credited to Young Nigerian Rights and Wong Box Nigeria, the groups — alongside Hon. Prince Ogbonna — vowed to pursue what they described as “legal and lawful action” against VDM in 2026.

They alleged that VDM’s actions infringed on the rights and privacy of minors, insisting that the matter would be addressed through legal channels. The organisations further stated that blocking Wong Box Nigeria would not stop the legal process.
