A disturbing video has surfaced online showing armed men, believed to be operatives of Operation Udo Ga-Achi, also known as the Agunechemba Vigilante Group, assaulting corps members at their lodge in Anambra State.
The footage, shared by the Haven 360 Foundation on Monday, captured the moment a female corps member, Jennifer Edema Elohor, was beaten and stripped naked by gun-wielding men.
According to the foundation, the corps members were brutalised, humiliated, and subjected to sexually degrading threats despite presenting their NYSC identity cards.
“On July 23, 2025, these state actors stormed the corpers’ lodge, accusing the members of being ‘Yahoo people’, despite their prompt production of NYSC identification cards and uniforms,” the foundation stated.
It added that Elohor’s case was particularly severe as she was left exposed and bloodied after the assault.
“The victims were subjected to unsavoury, horrible, sexually degrading words and actions, including threats of sexual violation,” the foundation said, while condemning the incident.
The viral clip has since sparked outrage on social media, with many demanding accountability and justice for the corps members.
