Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has come to the defence of Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ winner, Ijeoma Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, following criticism over a recent video of her hanging out at a club.
Regina shared a video on Instagram showing herself dancing with Phyna and others. Shortly after, an Instagram user slammed the reality star, questioning why she was partying despite recently mourning her sister and demanding $80m compensation from Dangote Group.
Reacting, Regina said Phyna grieves privately. “She definitely cries in her private moment. But with us, the tears dey mad?” she replied.
Meanwhile, Phyna has continued to call out Dangote Group over alleged negligence in the death of her sister, Ruth. She accused the company of failing to cover all medical, mortuary, and burial expenses despite publicly claiming otherwise.
The reality star further alleged that Dangote Group drafted a letter in her father’s name to acknowledge funds, describing the move as disrespectful. She also expressed worry over the welfare of Ruth’s children, noting they have received no support since their mother’s passing.
