The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of the mother of its Head of Directorate of State (DOS), Mazi Chika Edoziem, who passed away after a brief illness.

In a statement issued by the group’s spokesperson, Comrade Emma Powerful, IPOB extended its heartfelt condolences to Edoziem and his family during this period of grief.

According to the statement, IPOB acknowledged the irreplaceable role of a mother’s love, noting that while her passing leaves a painful void, the movement takes solace in the fact that she lived a life of love, sacrifice, and faith.

“Her son, Mazi Chika Edoziem, has continued her legacy of steadfastness and commitment to truth and freedom,” the statement read.

The pro-Biafra group prayed for the Edoziem family, asking God to grant them strength to bear the loss and for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul.

“The IPOB family mourns with you, dear brother, but we also stand firm with you in faith and solidarity, trusting that her spirit lives on through your dedication to our just cause,” Comrade Emma Powerful stated.
