A Nigerian graduate has sparked reactions online after boldly instructing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to appoint him as the next governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), just 10 minutes after completing his graduation ceremony.
The unusual demand was made in a video shared on TikTok by content creator @j_perfect1, who declared that he was not ready to join the queue of unemployed graduates in the country.
In his words:
“I just graduated 10 minutes ago and I never see work. I give you 24 hours, make me the CBN governor. You hear wetin I dey talk? I no wan dey follow them dey do all these things. In the next 24 hours, if I no see say you write application come give me, you go see wetin I go do.”
Although he did not reveal what action he planned to take, he insisted that the president must comply within 24 hours.
The video quickly went viral, attracting hundreds of comments from amused Nigerians who shared their thoughts on the graduate’s demand.
