The exchange rate between the US Dollar and the Naira fell further at the parallel market on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
Checks show that black market traders in Lagos sold the Dollar as high as ₦1500 while buying at ₦1475, according to Bureau De Change (BDC) sources.
Meanwhile, at the official market, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) pegged the Dollar to Naira rate between ₦1446 and ₦1472.
Traders caution that actual rates may differ slightly depending on location and demand.
