Al Nassr forward and Portugal national team icon Cristiano Ronaldo has officially taken the step fans have long anticipated — proposing to his longtime girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez.

The 40-year-old football legend’s engagement was confirmed by Rodriguez herself on Instagram, where she shared a heartfelt photo displaying her engagement ring.

"Yes, I want to. In this life and all my lives," Rodriguez captioned the post, publicly affirming her acceptance.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez’s love story began in 2016, and the couple shares two children: a daughter born in 2017 and twins born in 2022, though the boy tragically passed away during childbirth. Ronaldo also has a son born in 2010 and twins born in 2017 via a surrogate, all of whom Rodriguez embraces as her own.

Off the pitch, Ronaldo remains one of the highest-paid athletes in the world, currently under a two-year contract with Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr worth a reported $400 million.

The engagement marks a new chapter for the Portuguese superstar and the Spanish model, solidifying a relationship that has been a fixture in the public eye for nearly a decade.
