Day 10 in the Big Brother Naija house saw sparks fly during diary sessions as housemates aired their grievances about the current Head of House (HoH), Victory. What was supposed to be a leadership opportunity is now being viewed as a power trip by many of his fellow contestants.

Day 10: Housemates side-eye HoH’s choices – #BBNaija

The mood in the diary room was far from calm as multiple housemates called out Victory for his tone and treatment of others since assuming leadership. Among the most vocal was Big Soso, who expressed her disappointment in the HoH, accusing him of speaking to her and others with disrespect.

“I’ve told him before that I don’t like the way he talks to me, but he still continues,” Big Soso told Biggie. She recounted a recent incident where Victory lashed out over the movement of wager props, snapping at housemates without any prior discussion.

Imisi and Ivatar echoed similar sentiments, with Imisi admitting she had once rooted for Victory to win the HoH title but now regrets her support. “Power has changed him. He talks to people anyhow,” she stated. Ivatar described his tone as “abrasive” and said it’s creating an uncomfortable atmosphere in the house.

Meanwhile, Kaybobo provided a more balanced view. While acknowledging Victory’s decision to save Kayikunmi from eviction and make him the HoH guest raised eyebrows, he praised the move. “Victory gained a friend for life and my respect, because he stood up for the one person everyone was hating on,” Kaybobo told Biggie.

Koyin also weighed in, admitting that he wasn’t surprised by the move due to the evident closeness between Victory and Kayikunmi.

In another emotional moment, Tracy addressed the ongoing rift with Big Soso, once her closest ally in the house. Following a heated fallout after the Saturday Night Party, Tracy revealed she misses her friendship with Big Soso but fears reconciliation might lead to more pain.

Big Soso, on her part, apologized for confronting Tracy over rumors, but the tension between them lingers, casting a shadow over what was once a tight bond.

With the house divided and trust running low, all eyes are on Victory and how he handles the growing discontent within the ranks. Will he course-correct, or will his leadership style continue to stir the pot?
