MultiChoice Nigeria has officially announced that the highly anticipated Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10 will premiere on July 26, 2025, starting with a double launch weekend on July 26 and 27.
The announcement was made during a press briefing held on Wednesday, where the organisers revealed that this season’s winner will take home a record-breaking N150 million grand prize, the highest since the show debuted in 2006.
Fan-favourite host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, will return to anchor the reality show for another season.
During the briefing, Ebuka highlighted the show’s remarkable achievements over the years. Since inception, BBNaija has hosted 197 housemates across nine seasons, aired for a total of 709 days, and awarded N637 million in cash prizes.
Last year’s “No Loose Guard” edition introduced a unique format where contestants auditioned in pairs and entered the house as duos. They were later unpaired to compete individually, with Kellyrae emerging as the winner — making history as the first married housemate to win the show and walking away with N100 million.
For the upcoming Season 10, MultiChoice reintroduced physical auditions, which were held between May 16 and 18, reviving the traditional selection process that had been temporarily halted.
With the stakes higher than ever, fans across Nigeria and beyond are gearing up for what promises to be the most thrilling season yet.
