Naija Blog reports that the popular social media critic, VeryDarkMan, has once again stirred controversy after openly criticizing renowned cleric, Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, over a recent deliverance video that surfaced online.
In the trending footage, Prophet Jeremiah was seen casting out a demon from a child who repeatedly claimed to be a lion. The dramatic scene, which was recorded during a church service, showed the child roaring and acting aggressively before the prophet allegedly expelled the demonic spirit.
However, VeryDarkMan, in his latest video reaction, dismissed the entire deliverance session as a staged performance. He described it as nothing short of a "home video production," implying that the event was scripted to manipulate emotions and attract attention.
"That video is not a miracle; it's pure acting. Nigerians need to wake up and stop believing these Nollywood-type miracles," VeryDarkMan declared.
His comments have since generated heated discussions across social media platforms, with supporters praising his boldness in questioning religious theatrics, while critics accused him of disrespecting spiritual authorities.
As of the time of this report, Prophet Jeremiah has not officially responded to the allegations made by VeryDarkMan.
