Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has sparked fresh controversy by declaring that President Bola Tinubu is “a businessman rather than a president.”

The self-styled “Indaboski” argued that true leaders are remembered for lifting their nations and securing the future of their people, a standard he claims Tinubu has failed to meet.

“I don’t know who’s calling Tinubu president. Tinubu is just a businessman. If you want to talk about a president, call Trump, Ibrahim Traoré, Xi Jinping, and many others — they are all true leaders. Leaders are people who develop their country so their children and citizens can benefit, but the ones we have in Nigeria are busy acquiring wealth for their own children,” Odumeje said.

He further blasted Nigeria’s political class, accusing them of chasing personal wealth while leaving the masses in poverty and hardship.

Mocking Nigeria’s long-held nickname, the “Giant of Africa,” the cleric said the country had failed its people repeatedly and could no longer boast of meaningful progress.
