1. President Tinubu Commences Annual Leave, Departs Nigeria for France
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday departed Nigeria for France to begin his annual leave.
He was seen off at the airport by top government officials, including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume; Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; Governor Hope Uzodimma; Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Minister of Finance, Wale Edun; and Minister of Budget and National Planning, Atiku Bagudu.
According to the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President’s leave is a working vacation in Europe that will last for ten working days.

2. DHQ Warns Retired Soldiers to Vacate Ministry of Finance Premises
The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has cautioned retired military personnel protesting at the Federal Ministry of Finance in Abuja to vacate the premises immediately.
Maj. Gen. Markus Kangye, Director of Defence Media Operations, said the action was disruptive and lacked merit, even though the veterans have a constitutional right to protest.
