Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo has set social media abuzz after a video of him spraying money on Fuji legend, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, went viral.
The incident occurred during the birthday celebration of Chief Morenike Faloyin Badejo, which was attended by dignitaries including former First Lady Patience Jonathan.
While performing on stage, K1 De Ultimate hailed Obasanjo with praises such as “General, Aremu, President,” which seemed to excite the former Head of State. To the surprise of many, Obasanjo reached into his pocket and sprayed a bundle of cash on the Fuji maestro.
The gesture stunned guests, as Obasanjo is rarely seen engaging in such acts publicly. K1 De Ultimate and his band respectfully bowed in appreciation, acknowledging the unusual moment.
