Winner Shared Painful Childhood Trauma
The new BBNaija champion's victory comes shortly after she shared a deeply personal and painful chapter of her life with her housemates. During a task where housemates were prompted to discuss their personal histories, Imisi disclosed a traumatic childhood experience.
Speaking to teammates Koyin, Jason Jae, Sultana, and Mide, Imisi revealed she was sexually assaulted at the age of 13, an ordeal that resulted in a pregnancy she had to abort.
The reality TV star further recounted being sent out of her home at that young age. After being taken in by someone, she was quickly moved to a church after the person's mother discovered her presence. Imisi explained that she was placed in a small, dark storeroom and left alone overnight.
Imisi described the event as profoundly traumatic, stating that the memory is one of the hardest parts of her childhood and has left her with an adult inability to tolerate being alone in dark places.
