Emmanuella, the girlfriend of popular Nigerian skit maker Carter Efe, has publicly defended her partner amid growing criticism over his unconventional and extreme comedy skits.

During a recent livestream session shared with Carter Efe, Emmanuella addressed concerns from fans and critics who accuse the comedian of engaging in embarrassing and over-the-top antics.

Contrary to public perception, she revealed that she is fully aware of his creative choices and even plays an active role in encouraging his bold content.

“I know most of you see him [Carter Efe] online doing stuff and you feel like maybe he’s disgracing me. To be honest, before he does it, I’m aware. So, how can I be embarrassed or ashamed of who I already know?” Emmanuella stated.

She went further to clarify that she often advises him to push creative boundaries.

“I’m actually the one who advises him to do crazy stunts. He’s not embarrassing me. I’m even the one who encourages him to do those stunts. So, I’m never ashamed of my man,” she added.

Her remarks come in response to persistent online debates questioning the comedic style of Carter Efe, who is known for his loud, energetic, and sometimes outrageous skits that often divide public opinion.

Emmanuella also used the opportunity to advise women generally on relationship support:

“Don’t ever be ashamed of whatever your man is doing,” she said, emphasizing the importance of loyalty, encouragement, and mutual understanding in romantic partnerships.
