According to JAMB, some individuals are taking advantage of admission seekers by promising guaranteed admission in exchange for money. The board stressed that admissions are based on merit and approved procedures, warning that candidates who accept illegal offers could face serious consequences.
JAMB encouraged candidates to regularly check their admission status through the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and report any suspicious activities. The board also reminded institutions to follow the proper admission guidelines to ensure fairness and transparency.
