Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Igboho has issued a strong warning against individuals he alleges are collaborating with criminal groups involved in kidnapping activities in parts of the South-West.
In a statement circulating on social media, Igboho claimed that some Yoruba individuals are allegedly working with Fulani criminal elements to facilitate the kidnapping of people within their communities. He warned that anyone found supporting or assisting such activities would face severe consequences.
The activist’s remarks have sparked reactions online, with supporters and critics expressing differing views on the statement. However, there has been no official confirmation from security agencies regarding the allegations raised by Igboho.
Authorities have continued to urge citizens to report suspicious activities to law enforcement agencies and to avoid taking the law into their own hands as efforts to combat kidnapping and other forms of insecurity continue across the country.
