Several Feared Dead After Lagos Building Collapse


 The incident occurred on Thursday along Old Ojo Road near Alakija Bus Stop in Satellite Town, triggering a large-scale emergency response involving the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, the Nigeria Police Force, and other rescue teams.

According to the latest official update from emergency authorities, at least eight people have been confirmed dead, while 26 others have been rescued alive with varying degrees of injuries. Rescue operations were still ongoing as authorities searched for anyone who might remain trapped beneath the collapsed structure.
