Why I Choose To Serve Devil Instead Of God – Terry G

Nigerian singer Gabriel Oche Amanyi, popularly known as Terry G, has stirred controversy after declaring that he serves the devil, claiming the devil is responsible for his success.

In a now-deleted video shared on his social media page, the Akpako Master reacted to viral reports of his alleged death, clarifying that he is alive and in good health.

While addressing the rumours, Terry G revisited a past interview from The Honest Bunch Podcast, where he openly stated that as a secular artiste, he sings for the devil and not for God.

The singer reaffirmed his earlier statement, insisting that people should not be surprised because his kind of music does not glorify God.

According to him, “I have fallen short of the glory of God. People like me will not get married. I’m not a gospel musician, I’m sorry. I’m a secular musician. I sing for the devil. We sing for the devil, we praise the devil. We don’t glorify God, and it’s my business.”

Terry G added that his fans should accept him for who he is, emphasizing that he remains “sound and healthy.”

He said:

“My phone has been buzzing since morning. People have been calling to check up on me. They saw something online about my R.I.P. I came to clear your conscience. Please stop spreading that news. I am doing very fine.

“And also, let me clarify this — yes, I said it. I serve the devil. He made me successful. Take am like that. God bless you, I’m still very, very sound and healthy.”
