A Canadian national, identified as Mr. Dwight Sullivan, has been found dead in his hotel room on Victoria Island, Lagos State.
According to reports by security analyst Zagazola Makama, the incident occurred at Sun Heaven Hotels Limited, located at 191a Adeleke Adedoyin Street, off Kofo Abayomi Street, in the early hours of October 7, 2025.
Sources said the hotel’s Chief Security Officer, Sunday Isadeha, alerted the police around 4:30 p.m. after the foreign guest was discovered lifeless on the floor of Room 114, where he had been lodging since October 2nd.
A team of detectives from the Victoria Island Police Division visited the scene and took photographs. Police authorities confirmed that no signs of violence were found on the deceased’s body.
The body was subsequently evacuated to the Lagos Island General Hospital, Marina, where a medical officer confirmed him dead. His remains have been deposited at the hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.
Preliminary reports suggest no foul play, though police investigations are ongoing to ascertain the exact cause of death.
