Businessman and politician, Prince Ned Nwoko, has finally spoken out amid swirling allegations of domestic violence involving his actress wife, Regina Daniels.
In a strongly worded statement titled “Regina’s Unprovoked Carnage and Rampage in My House and in My Absence,”Nwoko denied ever assaulting his wife, instead alleging that Regina’s recent behavior has been driven by drug and alcohol abuse.
“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem,” Nwoko stated, expressing concern for her safety if she fails to continue with her rehabilitation program.
The Delta-born politician claimed that Regina had assaulted three domestic staff members within 48 hours, destroyed property including cars and windows, and exhibited increasingly erratic behavior.
“I have other wives, and none will ever accuse me of violence. Regina is the violent one here,” he said.
According to Nwoko, he had suggested that Regina undergo rehabilitation either in Asokoro, Abuja, or Jordan, to restrict her access to illicit substances. He further alleged that two individuals — one identified as Sammy, described as her “main drug supplier,” and another, Ann, also supplied her with substances.
Nwoko also claimed that during a recent family emergency involving their son, Moon, Regina allegedly threatened to harm a resident nurse who exposed her alleged drug use.
“A clear-headed Regina would have taken Moon to the hospital, but instead she threatened to kill our nurse,” he stated.
The statement marks Nwoko’s first public response since widespread rumours surfaced claiming that Regina Daniels had moved out of their home following an alleged domestic dispute.
