LAGOS, Nigeria – The spiritual leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued new warnings about President Bola Tinubu’s political future, stating that the 2027 general election could mark the collapse of the All Progressives Congress (APC) if Tinubu is not re-elected.
Speaking at the unveiling of the 2025 edition of his prophecy book, Warnings to the Nations, in Lagos, Ayodele claimed that former U.S. President Donald Trump “does not like Tinubu”, and could be used by opposition forces to damage Tinubu’s re-election plans.
"Two things may happen in the 2027 election. The coalition will use America against Tinubu. They may use the drug case against him. Trump does not like Tinubu,” he said.
“All these governors Tinubu is bringing into the APC will not help him.”
Tinubu’s Defeat Will Collapse APC – Ayodele
Ayodele warned that Tinubu’s failure in 2027 will push the APC into political oblivion.
"If Tinubu fails, APC will go into a coma. If the coalition survives, PDP will go. But if the coalition fails, PDP will resurrect,” he said.
He also advised the president to postpone the APC national convention, warning that the scheduled date could spark internal crisis.
Nigerians Are in Pain, Tinubu Has Not Done Enough
Primate Ayodele criticised Tinubu’s administration over worsening economic hardship, insecurity, and poor governance.
“Nigerians are in pain, and Tinubu hasn’t done enough. He is surrounded by poor advisers and people working against him from within,” he said.
He also stated that some of Tinubu’s top aides and loyalists will work with the opposition to frustrate his re-election bid.
2027 Election Will Be the Most Rigged in Nigeria’s History
The cleric predicted widespread election rigging and violence in the next general election.
“There will be rigging like never before. INEC facilities may be attacked. Nigeria is heading for stormy waters if Tinubu doesn’t act now,” he warned.
He also said Governor Nyesom Wike cannot deliver victory for Tinubu, predicting a fallout between the two.
Tinubu Is a Spiritual Force – Ayodele
In an unusual spiritual claim, Ayodele described Tinubu as a highly mystical and powerful figure.
“Tinubu is more than Tafawa Balewa, more than Awolowo. He is reincarnated. He is dynamic, a chameleon, a poison. You can’t eat him and go free. Even if he dies now, he will come back,” the prophet said.
The Church Is Also Part of Nigeria’s Problem – Ayodele
Ayodele didn’t spare religious leaders in his warnings, stating that many pastors and churches have failed in their duties.
“Churches are greedy and wicked. There’s no unity in Christendom. The church is part of Nigeria’s problem,” he added.
