Actress and singer Halle Bailey has sparked fresh romance rumors after being spotted on a romantic getaway in Italy with a mystery man. The 25-year-old Little Mermaid star, who is currently in a custody dispute with ex-boyfriend and rapper DDG over their one-year-old son, Halo, was photographed cozying up with the unidentified man on a yacht off the Italian coast.
Photos published by The Shade Room show Bailey and the man sharing kisses and cuddling, marking the first time she has been seen publicly with a new partner since her split from DDG in October 2024.
The sighting comes just weeks after Bailey was granted a restraining order against DDG, whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. In her court filings, she accused the rapper of physical, emotional, verbal, and financial abuse during their relationship.
One alleged incident, described in her sworn statement, involved a January altercation where Bailey said she was assaulted while trying to strap their baby into a car seat. She claimed DDG called her derogatory names, pulled her hair, and slammed her face into a steering wheel, chipping her tooth.
“I stopped fighting back as I was in a lot of pain,” she recounted in court documents.
Meanwhile, DDG’s attempt to secure a restraining order against Bailey was denied by a judge.
Despite the ongoing legal drama, Bailey’s Italian vacation and affectionate moments with her new companion suggest she may be embracing a fresh chapter in her personal life. Neither Bailey nor her representatives have publicly commented on the new relationship.
