Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank), one of Nigeria’s largest commercial banks, has announced an early closure of all its branches nationwide on Monday, June 30, 2025, to facilitate its half-year audit exercise.
In a notice issued to customers, the bank stated that upcountry branches will close by 2:00 PM, while Lagos brancheswill close an hour later, by 3:00 PM.
The bank urged customers to make use of its digital banking platforms for their financial needs during the shortened business hours.
“We encourage you to take advantage of our secure, convenient and always-on alternative channels for any of your banking needs,” the message read.
GTBank, known for its efficiency and customer service, conducts periodic audits as part of its compliance with regulatory standards and internal performance reviews.
Customers are advised to complete any in-branch transactions ahead of the early closure time and utilize the bank’s ATMs, internet banking, and mobile banking apps for uninterrupted services.
