Social media personality Broda Mike has sparked reactions online after launching a scathing criticism of the late Nollywood actor Mr Ibu’s widow and content creator King Mitchy.
In a post circulating on social media, Broda Mike accused King Mitchy of providing a platform for Mr Ibu’s wife to allegedly tarnish the late actor’s legacy. He claimed that the interview was motivated by a desire for attention and online engagement.
“King Mitchy, God will punish you. You gave Mr Ibu’s wife your platform to come and disgrace his legacy all in the name of chasing clout,” he said.
Broda Mike also used the opportunity to advise men on marriage, stressing the importance of choosing financially independent partners.
“Men out there, this is my advice to you. No matter how life treats you, don’t marry a jobless woman. Don’t marry a woman who won’t be able to protect your investments if you’re no longer there,” he stated.
He further alleged that Mr Ibu’s widow had previously mismanaged funds that were reportedly contributed for the veteran actor before his death. Broda Mike also accused her of benefiting from Mr Ibu’s fame without making meaningful contributions of her own.
The remarks have generated mixed reactions online, with some social media users supporting his views while others criticized the comments as insensitive and unverified.
Neither King Mitchy nor Mr Ibu’s widow had publicly responded to the allegations at the time of filing this report.
