JTAH Foundation’s Favour Benson Hails Girls Leading Change Amid Crises

The Executive Director of Jashabel Touch-A-Heart Foundation (JTAH Foundation), Mrs. Favour Benson, has joined voices around the world to mark the International Day of the Girl Child 2025, celebrating the courage, resilience, and leadership of girls everywhere.

This year’s global theme, “The Girl I Am, The Change I Lead: Girls on the Frontlines of Crisis,” highlights the strength and determination of girls who continue to make a difference in their communities despite facing daunting challenges.

In her message, Favour Benson described girls as “the heartbeat of transformation,” emphasizing their vital role in shaping the future through education, innovation, compassion, and leadership.

“Every girl carries within her the seed of greatness. Even in times of crisis, they continue to rise, lead, and inspire. At JTAH Foundation, we are proud to stand with every girl child and remain committed to promoting their rights, protection, and empowerment,” she said.

Benson called on parents, community leaders, and policymakers to continue investing in the girl child by creating supportive environments that nurture their potential and amplify their voices.

“Let us continue to invest in the girl child, give them opportunities, and amplify their voices. The change we seek begins with empowering our girls,” she added.

She further reaffirmed the JTAH Foundation’s ongoing commitment to advocacy, education, and empowerment programs designed to uplift girls and safeguard their dignity.

“Happy International Day of the Girl Child! Girls are not just the future – they are the leaders of today,” Benson declared.
