Layal Jade Tinubu, wife of Seyi Tinubu — son of Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu — has opened up about how she met her husband.
In a heartwarming revelation during a recent video broadcast celebrating Seyi Tinubu’s 40th birthday, Layal shared that their love story began on the social media platform Facebook.
According to her, it wasn’t a pickup line that caught her attention but Seyi’s charisma and calm confidence.
“We met on Facebook. I wouldn’t really say there was a pickup line per se, but it was more of how he carried himself that drew me to him. He was confident yet easy-going. And he has this opulent charm like he didn’t really need to try,” she said.
Layal, a Nigerian-Lebanese lawyer and entrepreneur, married Seyi Tinubu in 2016. The couple is blessed with children and is well-known for their strong presence in Nigeria’s business and philanthropic circles.
