The Managing Director of Akmodel Group, Builder (Dr.) Abdulhakeem Odegade, has officially joined national leaders and citizens in mourning the death of Nigeria’s former President, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, who passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2025, in London.

In an official condolence message, Dr. Odegade described the late Buhari as “a man of integrity, discipline, and unwavering commitment to national service.” He highlighted Buhari’s significant contributions to Nigeria’s political evolution, having served as both a military head of state and a two-term democratically elected president, roles that shaped Nigeria’s developmental history.

“President Buhari was a towering figure in Nigeria’s history. His leadership left an indelible mark on our nation’s political and developmental journey,” Dr. Odegade stated.

The Akmodel Group boss extended heartfelt condolences to Buhari’s family, the Nigerian government, and the entire nation, praying that Almighty Allah grants the former president eternal rest.

“May Allah accept him into Aljannatul Firdaus and may his family find strength in the prayers of a grateful nation,” he concluded.

President Buhari’s death was earlier confirmed by his former aide, Garba Shehu, with more official details expected soon.
